Although we specialize in caring for pets in their senior years and those with medical conditions or disabilities, we provide care for pets of any age and in any state of health.

Whether you require vacation or regular pet care, pet sitting or dog walking, we offer a customized care regime that best suits the needs of your pet – and gives you peace of mind!

The evolution of Cozy Critters

Cozy Critters began to evolve in 1989. Friends and co-workers would often call me to care for their pets when they were unable. They knew of my passion for animals, years of fostering sick or injured animals and my interest in animal health.

They were confident their pets were in good hands. In 1990 I began my work in veterinary clinics. A career I pursued for the next 10 years. I worked my way up to Assistant, then Technician.

Pet owners would often express their desire to find home-care for their pets. Kenneling or boarding was no longer an option. The stress of being removed from home would often result in pets’ illness and/or change in behaviour. The question was, whom could they trust to provide the reliable, experienced care needed?

This was especially a concern for those with geriatric pets and pets with medical conditions or disabilities. Veterinarians recommended my services to pet owners. It was their ultimate peace of mind. Word-of-mouth ensued and Cozy Critters was born!
